Hacorie 石丸和美

Hacorie is a ceramic artist based in Japan and a mother of two. Her studio, "HACORIE," combines the words "HAKO" (box) and "atelier," reflecting her creative spirit that flourishes within small, everyday spaces.

With a background in design, she brings a playful and rhythmic sense of color and form to her ceramics. Her works feature bold blocks of color and abstract shapes that feel both contemporary and warm. The contrast of coarse clay with a light, airy touch makes her pieces especially striking- functional yet unique, and particularly delightful for summer use.

Outside of her creative work, she finds joy in cooking, gardening, and cherishing the small moments of daily life with her children. "Even when time feels short," she says, "the little things I look forward to make me happy."
