Cosael

We are very happy that we have the opportunity introduce one of greatest Japanese ceramic artist to Vancouver. And she has few words want to say to her fans in North America:

"Nice to meet you! Hello, everyone in Canada.
I'm cosael, a pottery artist based in Japan.
The name "cosael" means "to create" in Japanese.

"Cosael" is a phonetic spelling.
When I was young, I wanted to become a children's clothing designer and loved drawing and making clothes.

As an adult, I realized that dream. After getting married, I stepped away from the world of design.However, I still wanted to create something while raising children. Initially, I made small fabric items for sale, but I discovered pottery through a friend and became deeply immersed in it.

I'm still a novice in pottery, but I think the fact that I have a lot to learn allows for a more creative approach.

Through cosael's creations, I hope to bring smiles and laughter to your dining tables and lives.I will continue to create adorable things, so thank you for your support."
